"This phenomenal presentation will bring you up to date on the major trends and demographic layout of this vast segment of our population. "
Horace B. Deets
Former Executive Director, AARP
The current demographic revolution is predicted to continue well into the coming centuries. One out of every ten persons is now 60 years or older; by 2050, one out of five will be 60 years or above; and by 2150, one out of three persons will be 60 years or older. The older population itself is aging. The oldest-old (80 years or older) is the fastest growing segment of the mature population.
- What do the demographic profiles of boomer and mature Americans look like?
- What are the latest “generational” research findings and how do these outcomes impact our society?
- What are the most distinct lifestyle and psychographic conclusions about the mature adult population?
The growth of this generation has affected every aspect of our society: including families, businesses, government and the health care system. This presentation investigates the demographic shift of the mature population in the United States and the major trends that can be anticipated from the vast Graying of America.
